Squats!! They are a basic human movement; they build muscle all over; you can utilize them for fat loss; you can utilize them for weight gain, and you can use them for overall body composition. Squats build muscle all over; they’re a functional movement, mobility movement, and a stability movement. You can use them in assessing deficiencies. They’re an injury prevention movement and a joint strengthening movement. They are a versatile, do anywhere movement, and they increase overall power.

HISTORY

Cam has been immersed in athletics and training for as long as he can remember. 

With over 20 years coaching experience and close to 13 years training at SVPT Fitness – since the day the doors opened in Edmonton – he’s provided his extensive knowledge, practice and sincerity to help others achieve their goals. 

His approach to training is rooted in versatility and solid proven methods, drawing from a wide range of practices and modalities; the right tool for the job. 

When not learning, training, or training clients, Cam can be found with his tolerating wife, golden retriever and 3 rescue cats. 

TrainEE Type

Cam has had the pleasure of training an assortment of clientele from teen sports to national level athletes to moms and dads and those with disabilities or other challenges. He helps clients reach their individual goals utilizing evidence based training. Cam wants you to learn the safest, most efficient methods and movements for you to reach your personal goals in a safe, controlled, progressive environment.
