It’s certainly not an exercise she finds easy, but one of Sarah’s favourite movements is the Turkish Get-Up. There’s something incredibly satisfying about being able to get up from the ground while holding a weight overhead.

HISTORY

Growing up, Sarah spent most of her free time at the barn with her horse, so it wasn’t until university that she first set foot in a gym. To her surprise, the gym quickly became a source of confidence and healing, filling the void left by the loss of her horse. After many years as a student, Sarah realized she wanted a career that would allow her to help others discover the same confidence and joy through movement.

TrainEE Type

While Sarah enjoys working with people of all backgrounds and fitness levels, a couple of client groups hold a special place in her heart. During university, she worked on a research project focused on predicting fall risk. This sparked her passion for helping older adults remain active, strong, and independent. She also knows firsthand how intimidating and overwhelming it can feel to walk into a gym for the first time. That experience fuels her dedication to supporting beginners with compassion and encouragement as they take their first steps towards a healthier lifestyle.
